Annual Nenana Ice Classic
The plot shows the time the Timer attached to a rope attached to a tripod attached to the ice in the middle of the river moves sufficiently that the timer is stopped.
Not an accurate measure of ice breakup perhaps but one which is difficult for climate contrarians to claim "adjustment".
This plot is in days from vernal equinox. This being a more fixed time to the annual cycle than a date.
The linear plots have been made assuming that there is a slope change around 1964 The smoothed curve is one smoothed by a Hodrick Prescott filter

I remember one year, must have been 2012 I suppose, when the competition caused a bit of excitement that an ice age must be coming. There's not been much said on denier blogs since (or before) that year. A flash in the pan
