A Scientist Replies to Christopher Monckton: Abraham v. Monckton - can you open the presentation?

edited February 2017 in Deniosaurs

A few years back Prof Abraham wrote an excellent response to a Monckton presentation.I've linked to it in some recent posts but this morning again I've had trouble opening it, "missing plug in" (with no details) I've come at it from another site http://climate.uu-uno.org/view/article/147446/ .  Same thing.  I'm on a new computer and haven't had such issues anywhere else.

Professor Abraham's presentation can be found at:

Could someone perhaps give it a try and let me know if the presentation opens for them.

Thank you, cc

  • Oh and if you are not familiar with it, check it out.  It's a first rate demonstration of how to rationally dispute contrarian claims.   Unfortunately as we are learning too late rational rebuttals, don't add up to a hill of beans if your intended audience has no interest in hearing a damned thing you have to say.
  • It opens for me, you meant the one in your quote, right? I'm using Firefox with an Adobe plugin so I can directly open PDFs and such, I think the presentation opened in Adobe Presenter. If you should already be able to open that kind of files, maybe it has to do with your browser settings or an outdated plugin? Flash might be a good thing to check as well, it's absolutely everywhere. Also check you're not getting any problems from ad blockers and the like.
    Good luck!
  • Okay, no more excuses, I know where to focus.  I'm hideous about that technical stuff, example of me being own worst enemy.  =). Thanks for the advice.
