Sou, in my profile I've downloaded my avatar and it's within size limits -but it doesn't come across on my comments.  What am I missing?

  • Sou, another thing I've been wondering about, under your formatting options Headings 1 and 2, but no Regular text option.  For instance in the Abraham v. Monckton post I just put up, I was stuck with that formatting though I pulled it onto a document and specified Arial and no bold - and repasted that, only to see it converted back to Heading format.
  • Hi CC. I'll follow those up, but I won't be able to for another day.
  • Until I find another solution, it look as if there are probably three options, CC.
    1. Instead of using a word processing app, if you have lots of text and want to clear the formatting, copy the text into a text editor that has no formatting (such as Notepad in Windows) and it will remove the formatting and leave the text. You can then paste it back.
    2. Click on the </> symbol at the top right of the WYSIWYG bar (just above the comment box). That will reveal the underlying code as well as the text. You'd then go through till you find the code for the heading and remove the code, just leaving the text. Make sure you get both sides of the code. Click the symbol again and you'll get back to the normal comment box.
    3. With your cursor on the heading you want to remove, click on the bullet or number list. It will turn the format of the heading into list format, and remove the heading format. Then click on the list icon again and it will revert to normal format.
At present, I don't think there's an option for me to add a "clear format" button. I'll keep it in mind, though, and if I see something I'll let you know.
